2017
Interfacing with Hospital Systems and Risk Tools

From 2017 to 2018 TrakGene develops interfaces with other Hospital Information Systems and Risk Tools. We develop HL7 interfaces to improve interoperability and improve workflow efficiency. TrakGene is one of the inaugural groups to join the newly formed Global Alliance for Genetics in Healthcare (GA4GH).

2016
Expanding into the EU

First EU genetics services signs on with TrakGene, followed by more EU sites. Successful Proof of Concept deployment of TrakGene Clinical Genetics Software on Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform.

2013
Established in Australia, UK and US

With personnel in the US, UK and Australia, we focussed on our founding customers and continued to build out our system to include additional features that aligned with additional growing demands such as policy reporting requirements, linking risk tools and automating reporting.

2011
TrakGene Founded

We identified the growing need for a specialised full-service Clinical Genetics software solution with a strong focus on the worlds best pedigree drawing solution. With feature and function inputs from some of the world’s leading medical Geneticists, Genetic Counsellors and Support and Policy teams, we focussed exclusively on clinical genetics.
